    Default cancer ribbon blocks

I have a friend who is going through the battles, her mom saw a quilt at the cancer center that depicted each color ribbon and asked me of I could do something like that. Well, of course I could! The 24 blocks are finished ( I used the heart/ribbon paper pieced pattern from Carol Doak - free patterns, enlarged ) So, today I hope to get it put together.

Those blocks came out so lovely. I didn't know that there were so many ribbons until I saw a chart for which month was for which cancer. I am sure this will help your friend immensely thru the rough terrain of battling her cancer.
