OMG. I grew up with CRbags. They manufactured the whiskey at Hiram Walkers in Windsor ON, just down the street from our high school. We always knew when the latest "mash" was ready. LOL
They don't bleed. We kept everything in them. Marbles, candy, school lunches, hair stuff, Lego and later jewelry.

I always Google quilt pattern because you get such inspirations from other quilters. But check out our website:

Those bags do bleed like crazy when washed. They will stain your gold fabric. I made a queen size Crown Royal quilt several years ago for my husband's uncle. I prewashed the bags at least four times and they still bled - didn't fade, just bled. I finally went ahead and made the quilt but when I gave him the quilt also gave him a box of shout color catchers to use when he laundered it. The quilt turned out a lot prettier than I thought it would. I will try to track down a picture. Good luck on yours!

Be sure to use Color Sheets from Shout, they work really good on fabric that bleeds. I use them regularly and love them.

I have made several. U found putting a stabilizer on the back of the bags was necessary. They wanted to stretch and curl!

I've been saving those bags for years. After reading all the super ideas I think I might be ready to use them. Many thanks to all.
