If you would be driving.....Sweetwater is literally 2 miles off Interstate 75 - exit 60. We are 40 minutes south of Knoxville, 60 minutes north of Chattanooga and 2 1/2 hours north of Atlanta. Interstate 40 is direct highway connector east and west to I-75...easy drive.....good roads all the way.

If you would be flying....its McGee Tyson Airport. Our Oddesy holds 6 people. We have other cars available between us and a Jeep with a roll bar

I vote mid September. I'll be moved and settled by then . . . and find someone to take care of the horses and dogs (and whatever else I collect in the meantime.)

Early fall would be a wonderful time - beat the summer heat and the winter ice. I would love to spend a couple of days quilting together - and playing - and that pub sounds good too!!

One last question and I'll watch what developes is there one or more golf courses near by? Mr Bill is an avid golfer and since I can't lure him with surfing it will have to be golf.

Billi, you are in luck....there are actually four.....Rarity Bay Country Club - 20/25 minutes; Tennessee National, Greg Norman Course 15 minutes; Windriver Golf and Country Club 30 minutes - Fox Den 40 minutes in Knoxville - all offer daily fee. Can google them probably.
