Not sure about Houston but Puduka sells out of hotel and other accommodations nearly a year in advance. Closest I could find at a reasonable price was nearly 60 mi away. Too far IMHO to drive to after a long day of walking and shopping. If anyone knows a good place to sty I'd love to know😊

There are several state parks near Paducah with cabins and lodge rooms. We stayed at one about 35 miles from Paducah and the cabin had two beds and a kitchen. We were able to book it the Jan before the quilt show last year.

I haven't been to either show, but next year I'm making the trip to Paducah. I want to see the Quilt Museum in addition to the quilt show.

    Default Houston INTL Show

This past Year was my very 1st show and it was the Houston show since I live 3 hours from there. I was speechless! I made the mistake of only reserving a room for 2 nights so only got to go 1 day. Next year I will be going 2 days so I can take my time to see everything and let my back take a much needed back when it's needed.
