I thought it could be helpful to someone else besides me. I am making (or trying to) make a quilt for a twin size and had no idea about sizes. The size stated doesn't seem that much smaller than a queen size but I'd rather go a little big anyway for down the road. I searched stores to see what size they made their bed covering but they are all over the place, so this helped me a lot.

Be sure to ALWAYS measure the mattress. There has been so a change in the thickness of some mattresses.
