Another challenge finished! My November Jacob's Ladder Lap Quilt. The red/white you see behind it are the blocks from this boom (waiting for the April blocks to finish that one) and the yellow/black are from Boom 12 (shame on me).

KAT - love the scappy look of the Jacobs Ladder. Did you have much trouble matching up everyone else's sewing?

TG, the quilt actually went together really fast. I matched the 9 1/2 and didn't worry too much about the blocks, although I didn't notice much of a difference.

Oh Man! I need to get going on my UFOs....you ladies are fast...wow! Beautiful!

Ok here is my progress photo. I must admit I am having a great time with this and giggling to myself. I have used every block from Boom 14 and added random fruits and veggies where needed to keep the overall theme. I know it doesn't look like the normal quilt....and it may create some dizziness...but it's not done yet. Just working everything into the final layout. Sewing together now.

    Happy Easter!

I am loving how this is coming together so much to look at so much to take in....I'm looking forward to seeing it in person this September, maybe if you and mom are up to it and the stars align properly you can bring her home for an afternoon for a short visit. I would love to meet the woman this was made for and that raised you to be the loving giving person you are.

Billi...such a wonderful thing to say...and I needed that today! I go to see Mom everyday and sometimes twice a day. She doesn't always remember I was there. I do bring her home a couple of times each week on good weather days. Sometimes she sleeps through the visit and other times she comes up with the funniest things....like .....she didn't recognize Mr. B. and when I asked her "who's this guy" she confidently said, that's Willie Nelson...we all had a big laugh. I hope she is able to come for a visit, too. We will just have to see. I love working on this quilt. It is taking on a life of its own...I have a place for each block from Boom 14! I would love to see all the quilts from this swap. Can't wait.
