I have to admit, I am a genuine purple fanatic! I bet if I count over 1/2 of the quilts I've made are purple themed or at least have a good amount of purple in them. I had bought this fabric for a quilt, and yes I made the quilt, just had a little still left. 2nd best is turquoise,love it too! Just really happy lj liked it too...

Oh yes I love the set Jaba sent me. We have been partners in swaps many times. we have been in boomer swaps and I always love her work. We both have a purple thing!! I never get tired of purple!!! It is funny that 90%of my quilts are purple or have some splash of purple.

Thanks nhnative, think I received an awesome swap in the mail today from Dee7683. Had to share the candy with hubby, which is good, my hips don't really need it all...scissors, sewing needles were in the little hard case, egg shaped needle case with my initial, pin cushion w/little pompoms, basket with clips attached, and a ring pin cushion. Jaba, love that ring pincushion, so cute, and just the right size for me when I do binding. (I use 2-3 pins at a time).

very nice swap. You can even clip the clips onto the finger pincushion while sewing on binding etc. Love the eggs with the initial on it.
