I know you would have like to have it finished sooner. But didn't you know. You can't count chickens, not when they are running amok. Great job, and each one has a story to tell and a memory with it.

Thank you so much for sharing your quilt with us and posting such beautiful pictures! The quilt is fantastic and you did an amazing job making it! I loved seeing the chicken quilts your friends made, too! I love chickens! I was fortunate to have grandparents who had a chicken ranch and sold eggs at their house. There was also eleven acres of citrus trees and lots of freedom for a child to explore and run around. Anyway, I really appreciate seeing your quilt and am inspired to consider making a similar one!
