Tilted Ears you have some great pics. Of course I liked the kitties best but the baby calf is just so cute and love you carrying him into the barn. I love barn pics. Mary you did good on the rest of your swap to Pamela.

I am blessed with a pair of big girl panties, too! I love them!!!

Lynnie ~ Most "normal" ducks love to swim right away; however, these were hatchery babies that we've raised in the house. My hatchery mallards LOVED swimming when they were much smaller than this. These are khaki campbells, a different breed, and I'm not so sure what they're thinking or why they are not excited to swim just yet. They spend the daylight hours outside now & LOVE eating grass & finding bugs. Some ducks prefer land over water & maybe that is the case with the khakis. I need to read up a bit more on them. We enjoy having a few ducks on our pond & a hawk ate our last pond duck over winter, unfortunately.

Mary -- thanks for posting the photos! Hah! I did finally figure out how to get the chocolate carrots out of the jar! It was quite a work-up, so I had to eat them to regain my strength! (I tried to pace myself!) Thanks again for my goodies!

Thanks for 'splaining to me about ducks. We have lots of ducks on the island, (LIDucks)
but i'm learning so much about farm stock and wildlife here. Mary told me all about cows
and where brisket comes from on the cow. I love learning things like that. I could always
come in handy for trivia if needed. And thanks for pictures too.
