Welcome Britgirl. You will really like the folks here. I am a Brit. Was born and grew up near Chester, on the Wirral Peninsular. I have lived in S.C. for a little over 50 years, but still miss Cheshire. Good to have you here with us.

Hello from Washington. I hope you share some of your work. I have never done an art quilt, but at our quild quilt show and at the meeting last night, I saw some interesting quilts. Then to top it off, I won 2 Quilting Arts magazines at the meeting. Now I am really intrigued. I might just give it a try. :-)

Where are you from and how long have you been here?
I was actually born here in NC (Davidson County), lived in Jax, Fl for 16 years and moved back in 1976 - been in Stanfield, (Stanly Co.) ever since. Like I said we are about 20 miles east of Charlotte.
