    Did you appliqué them on top of a backing? Or are they pieced in? I love selvedge quilts, bags ect..is there a pattern that I could purchase to do this? Amazing!

    The selvedges top and bottom are foundation pieced. The 'falling selvedges' are raw edged appliqued on to a pieced background. There is no pattern, just made it up as I went along.
