June Mug Rug Swap! Patriotic colors or picnic! your choice!
#341
Hi all,
I would like to share with the awesome mug rug and coordinating set of stem glassware coasters Omee5 sent to me. She also sent along an assortment of other goodies, all of which I have profusely thanked her for in a pm.
She says this is her first time paper piecing. Didn't she do a great job? Her mug rug will hang on my wall with others from this and the mini quilt swap.
Best,
deb in Maine

hav4boys -- what a lovely swap package. Love the eagle -- & I adore polka dots!
nhnative -- great swap from your partner! Everything is so wonderful, don't know where to begin!
whigrose -- love that carpenter's wheel, & coasters are always a welcome addition!
I also love Nancy Halvorsen's books & have a couple, Pat.

FYI -- Quite a few people have been trying to reach me by PM, but my mailbox was full. (I wish they would give us a heads-up on that one.) Anyway, it's cleared now.

Hello, all! I am not in this swap this month. But you ladies have some beautiful mug rugs coming to your mailboxes.
I am asking for good thoughts and prayers if you don't mind. We are having a terrible rain storm and we have flooded twice since 2011. Sure don't need another one. And we have water laying in our backyard once again. It is going to be a long night. We have live here since 1974 and never had any problems until 2011. I am ready to move!

Sewbizgirl, yes I first sewed the flag strips then did a blanket stitch with my original berninia 1090. The eagle is embroideried with berninia 830. I was afraid to use it at first but now I'm so comfortable with it . I still don't have all the knowledge I need but I sit and study it . Thank you for the compliment. My other project to berry berry was a picnic theme .
