Hi ladies, I am missing all of you. I haven't signed up for any swaps lately but still following this thread. I knew that other commitments would not allow me to fulfill so am hoping that I can (fingers crossed) try for the August swap. Everyone does such nice work. New sewing spaces and such a variety of mug rugs and yummy little extra's. You all are awesome quilters and swappers. We are off again tomorrow for several days for another family commitment. Just wanted to congratulate all of you on fabulous work!

I love her books, too..have several of them, but not the patriotic one. But I just ordered it, because that lil Uncle Sam is too cute!

TPr9258 -- that's a great star mug rug you received from regm! And behind the star, I see some ants marching along another mug rug. Great swap!

I'm glad the air has been cleared re all the extras that may or may not come with the mug rugs. I will join again.
I have done tons of swaps & it seems the inclusion of goodies has grown. I collected a pile of mug rugs for the school children in Conn, after that dreadful shooting. Turns out they were so overwhelmed, they did not want them, after accepting my idea. Gave them to local library for story hour. Really appreciated. Mug rugs are great!

I am asking for good thoughts and prayers if you don't mind. We are having a terrible rain storm and we have flooded twice since 2011. Sure don't need another one. And we have water laying in our backyard once again. It is going to be a long night. We have live here since 1974 and never had any problems until 2011. I am ready to move!
Laurel
Hi Laurel, I hope that you survived the rain and did not get any water in your house. I went through that last May and I was lucky and only got 3" in my basement but my neighbor across the street had his whole foundation collapse into his basement. They were not insured for that and it took almost a year before he did move back in. I did hear that a tornado might have touched down in Uniontown and I did see where Wadsworth got a lot of flooding. If only it could have normal rain instead of all these thunderstorms and flooding. My son is still delivering mail in Kenmore and already got bitten by a dog.
Take care
Pat
