Lynnie, your mug rug for KLTQuilts is adorable! But, but, where's the ketchup, and relish, and onions?? It's cute, cute, cute.
I have a hotdog similar on my kitchen wall with all the toppings, along with a hamburger and a pizza, on the opposing wall is a stuffed bottle of ketchup dripping ketchup down the wall.
Love the new mug rugs. they seem to get cuter as we go along. such nice work everyone.
Deb, and Aunt 59 such beauitufl mugrugs. Dee, such nice points too!! excellent little works of art, everyone.

I am with lynnie that there are so many works of art. My memory is not good so I can't put down all the names, but they all are so pretty.
I did the triangles on a few mini quilts. They are really handy that way. I used a few of the pony tail holders the other day to keep the thread in tact on some of my bobbins. Great ideas we pick up here on this board.
I was invited to join here by a sweet friend, but I have been kind of slow lately with the few things I have to do so I will wait a bit longer. Everyone is having so much fun.

Dee 1245, your mug rug to Daisy Dew is awesome. I love those diamonds on point. Your use of fabric design was great, too.
Lynnie, I think if I was in your kitchen, I would have an eating disorder<giggle><giggle>. <giggle> You must have a fun kitchen
ctyankee- the triangles are awesome and only take a nano-second to add. Just take a square of fabric, fold it in half diagonally then sew in when adding on your binding. As Elisabrat says "tada"! Then you are able to hang your mug rugs, minis, small wall hangings in any direction using Command hangers without adding nail or tack holes to your wall.
Omee5 has received her package from me but hasn't posted a picture. I made her the mug rug and coordinating coaster, plus included other sewing related goodies.</giggle>
Chocolate Lynn's package is at her home town PO as of this morning. She should receive it today. Hopefully she'll post a pic for us.
The top photo shows (barely) the skewer in place for hanging. Photo two and three are the mug rug I made for Omee5; the first one shows the real colors.
Best,
deb in Maine</giggle>

sewbizgirl, thanks for the compliment. I really liked how that mug rug turned out-almost wanted to keep it for my wall. And, btw, the coaster really is round. It just looks funky in the photo.
I love making coiled items. And I love orange. This bowl started out for the kitchen with its colors of citrus and greens of kiwis and veggies, but somehow last evening my current sock knitting project ended up in it. Aw, darn
There are a couple of ways to do the wrapping - I prefer to cut my fabrics on the bias because there is less fraying. Another thing is do is push back the wrapping on the cotton line a couple of inches and snip out the center filler. Doing this step allows for a neater ending (less bulk). Give it a try. It's fun!
Any questions, ask away. I'll try to help.

The thing I really like about Teri"s mug rug is the way the firecracker fabric is used. Looks like what you see in the sky on the fourth of July. And I'm patting my self on the back for posting the pic. Wrote out explicit directions for next time.

Came home from break and this cool mug rug was waiting for me in my mailbox.
Thank you so very much Jacie. It is very cool and I will use it and think of you!
The scissor holder is a great idea, love it now I may even know where my scissors are ha
I will have some peach tea tonight after work. Thank you for the pretty fat quarter too!
Love it all.
