The pattern is a disappearing nine-patch. I looked through a lot of pictures of quilts to see how I arranged them.

How wonderful that your DGD is doing good, and hope that CF may one day be a thing of the past. I have a cousin whose granddaughter has CF and has just been chosen as the Alabama poster child for CF, she is doing well with God's help.
Beautiful quilt, and hope she does great in college and with the lungs transplant.

Great looking quilt. When my youngest child was born he was having a lot of problems and at 3 months of age he was diagnosed with CF. They had done 14 sweat chloride tests and 12 of them were positive. We had to learn percussion therapy and put enzimes on his food (43 years ago). Everything we were told was on the negative side and very few positives. Then when he was 4 years old, a CF specialist moved into the next county. We made an appointment with Dr.D and when my son walked into the exam room, he said, "If this child has CF, he is the healthiest looking CF patient I have ever seen". Long story short, the doctor did tests and said there was an error and he did not have CF. I feel that it was a miracle.

I am so very glad to hear of her fantastic progress and GOD bless you all.
