oh no going across the atlantic can take forever! I once sent a package to Australia and that package took 30 days to get there. are there no planes? lol.

the packages that came in for the fourth of July so far are not disappointing and I think it would be an honor to receive any of them! wow. great job ladies! on all of them! are you ready for the fun of Summertime? what is summer time fun to you? I used to think POOLS instantly when I was a kid. I mean going to the pool was the up most of all fun. Then we started going to Yosemite each summer and the river was so close by and we walked down daily and slid down the rapids on our rears over the rocks. each year you had to have at least two suits because you were surely going to ruin one set on the rocks. As time went my kids went too and they also needed two pairs of trunks and two pairs of binkis. it was a blast now I could think of many more ways to enjoy summer.. a good bbq! baked pies.. traveling to Sedona .. yup. summer means so many different things to each of us. sign up and tell us what it means to you!

Jacie received her mug rug from me so I am posting what I sent to her as she cannot.
The light table behind everything is mine. I did not send it to her. Ha

Hi everyone,
it's a beautiful day in my neck of the woods and to make it even nicer, dh is due home this afternoon after a week in the back woods fly fishing. Yea, me.

annt59-your mug rug to Nelda is nice. What are the little triangles used for?

snownannie-your mug rug to Jan Rutherford is cute! Nice goodies, too.

Chocolate Lynn's package was delivered Thursday but have yet to her from her. I am posting a photo of the mug rug I sent her. I included several fabric pieces and an erasable marker.

Our host moms do a great job to keep these swaps going. Thank you Elisabrat and ctyankee.

Best,
deb in Maine

Here is the front side of the cute reversible MR that Daisy Dew sent. Very cute flower basket on the MR and four coasters that, too, are reversible. And, the back side I love the colors she chose. Thanks Daisy Dew. They are all adorable.

The mug rugs are just beautiful.

Whigrose I love the way you pieced that mug rug. You have a good eye for colors together.

Dee very pretty mug rug and coasters from DaisyDew. They are all so cheerful.

Beautiful mug rug photos today, ladies! All the handmades are wonderful.

I do think we should wait a while before posting photos of items we sent, tho. Sometimes partners are out of town or otherwise tied up. Give them a week or so to contact you.

Lizzytish -- what a lovely mug rug you made! I really like that shape! The photo is upside down (don't worry, you'll get the hang of it!), but I think I see some tea bags for your partner, a notepad & a pencil. Great swap package.

Whigrose -- a very pretty mug rug you made Chocolate Lynn. I hope we hear from Chocolate Lynn; I'm sure she's delighted with her new mug rug!

Dee1245 -- DaisyDew sent you a nice mug rug & coaster set; great idea.

Most of the people who signed up wanted Patriotic, & looks like those who didn't specify ended up with Patriotic or red-white-and-blue. I have a weakness for that color combination myself. In fact, when I made my wedding quilt (31 years ago), I picked out a beautiful red print that I absolutely fell in love with. It wasn't until the top was finished & I laid it out on the bed that I noticed it was -- yep, you guessed it -- red, white & blue! It was not a conscious decision, I can honestly say. But I did add a little green for my Irish-born husband -- had to, really, because it was all hand-applilqued & the flowers needed leaves!
