Joyce is my partner this month and we have been in touch!

BTW: Thank you all for the warm words of encouragement and prayers! God is good and my life is blessed. Things are back on track and I am at peace with my new family (I'm a live-in Nanny) and living on Randolph AFB.
Stay Blessed

Good afternoon everyone. Boy it is hot here in Nebraska. We had a few days where I call it just perfect. Now we are headed into a week long of heat. Seems that all our little country towns are having their county fairs in the next few weeks. They are so much fun to go to and always have a collection of home crafts and of course quilts. I won't be going unless it does cool off. I'm working on my quilt block and am almost done. Missgigglewings I'm so happy for you that your new job is working out. How many children do you care for? Oksewnsew you have got one cute granddaughter. Is your part of the country hot also? I wish all of you a blessed weekend.

Glad everyone is making their blocks and posting. Keep cool, ya'all, and don't you dare say 'oh, we're having 70 deg temps..

I don't know what our temperature was today, but it sure was humid. I am the same way that high temperatures drain me, and I don't have much to drain. lol..

Hot weather is good for quilting... I just lock myself in and have at it! I finished my partner's block today and mailing it out tomorrow.
