I agree that a memory quilt is good therapy and a happy reminder about a loved one! I am sure she is smiling that
you finished the quilt and got a ribbon!

What a lovely quilt. Great job with the fabric selection. It's never fun to lose a loved one; but your insight on the healing power of quilting is wonderful. May you enjoy the memories you have of her as you cuddle under that beautiful quilt.

I'm sure she is proud too, as you should be. Sometimes we just have to wait for the right cause, idea, or project to use those special fabrics, and I'm sure that jelly roll was thee perfect one!
