What a very thoughtful way to honor this patriot. I think that makes you a patriot as well. Thank you for making this beautiful quilt for this man and thank your son for his service. My GS is in the Air Force also and he and his wife have been stationed in Alaska for about 4 1/2 years and have just been transferred to Kansas.

When this wonderful man, who belongs to the Leatherstocking Honor Flight of the Patriot Guard Riders, called me the next day to thank me again he also asked if I would like to make another one (I offered to make one to be raffled) to be raffled at one of their fundraisers in Sept. So I now have another one to make!!!

Well done! I'm sure he will like his quilt.
I just finished quilting a red, white and blue 3D bow tie quilt, that will go to a Wounded Warrior at Ft. Hood Army base. I haven't taken a new photo with the quilting yet.
