    The sashing strips were cut at 2.5". The cornerstone blocks were made from 1.5" strips and finished at 2.5" to match the sashing. Have fun.

    Wow, this is beautiful. I just started a DHG, but hadn't thought of sashing & turning the blocks like this..but you have inspired me to change up the placement! And I really like the contrast of the black & white. Your quilt just pops!
