Just want to thank Linda Rath for an amazing swap package that arrived today. So many things to thank you for ---the magazine, the table runner and pincushion patterns, all the black and white fabric, the notepads, popcorn, scissors, quilt labels, sewing kit, orphan blocks.....and more !!!! I received a lovely package from Nancy in Louisiana last Saturday. It's been a whirlwind week, so am late in getting the picture posted. She included fat quarters, "sticky" gloves for FMQing, two pincushions -- magnetic and a homemade long skinny one stuffed with sand, easy thread needles, a woolly pattern, embroidered squares ready to be made into a table runner or wall hanging, a fabulous pottery angel windchime, a butterfly calendar, and several smaller goodies. She couldn't have done better if she'd taken me with her shopping. Oh, and best of all, a cheery note about herself. Thank you so very much, Nancy.

Check out this awesome set of goodies I got from Linda (Jazs2). I'm so excited about the fabric, especially the red which I have already figured out is going in a holiday quilt I'm working on. Neither's mine. I'm not concerned just yet. Although mine isn't going to either, California and Florida take longer than many of the other states - no idea why as there is a huge International hub in Miami. As for Canada -a nightmare!

Also, your Pal could be out of town and it's sitting in her mailbox.

I just checked on the package I mailed my SP last week as I hadn't heard from her (and she's really good at responding). Turns out the PO is returning it to me for an incorrect address. I used the address on her questionnaire and it got all the way to her town before being rejected. PITS! I've PMed Lori and she'll decide which one of us will break the bad news to the recipient.
Just a heads-up folks, if you move (as this person did), please double-check the address you list on your Q.

Hi all! Jane you are quite welcome on the pkg. Enjoy it all! I haven't received my pkg. but it just makes it all more exciting. My MS hasn't been that great lately but I'm glad its Friday! I get to sleep in and sew!!!! Wonderful pkgs coming in all. Love it! BTW** My co-worker's husband is home and has a daily nurse come to do his vitals. He will begin chemo this coming Monday. She says that he still has the nausea and pain but she is leaning on God to help her through this. All of her family and children are there with her so she's not alone but I'm sure she feels she is. Please keep the prayers going for her, Dalila and her husband Jose.
