What is a KU log cabin? Is it a special color or a special type block?

Thank you so much, but it is not either of these....it was made in the log cabin square with a "Jayhawk" in the center.

The quilt you are looking for was a challenge for my quilt guild a few years ago. It was the 150th anniversary of the founding of Kansas State University (KSU) therefore quilters had to use 150 different purples. I can guarantee it was not a Jawhack in the center. It was a Wildcat. KU is Jawhawk and KSU is wildcat. To put it mildly ---- big rivals with Football and Basketball. LOL. Jayhawk colors are blue and red while KSU purple and silver or white. I would imagine the quilter just made her own pattern for this challenge.
I think one of our guild me!beds took some pictures of some of the challenge quilts and posted them on QB.
