Kind of a mystery
Just really got to looking at the treadle. It was my ex's grandmothers. Had a 66 in it. It sat in the living room for about 10 years. I fooled with it some but never took the time to really clean it or use it. But I've cleaned up the 66 and got a new belt coming. Got under it today and noticed that it had drawers at one time, but the irons are screwed where the drawers were. I'm guessing either the top or the irons were replaced. These definately don't go together. It works though. But I was gonna find drawers to put on it, now I can't. My ex and I don't talk anymore so I can't ask him about it.
The irons measure 23 inches across in width and the wooden top is 38 long.

but Joe - I gave you all my extra Singer ones!
Like Joe says, the Singer treadles came in two sizes, and you've got the bottom of the older, larger size and the top of the newer, smaller size. The age of the 66 will help determine which size it had originally.

You will probably find it's easier/cheaper/more convenient to buy a complete machine with cabinet and irons to put your machine in than it is to buy the missing pieces to make yours work.
The biggest problem with that approach for me is I always want to rescue the other "parts" machine too.

It sews just fine. That's really all I was concerned about. I just wanted drawers. But, I could make some custom to fit this. They would be narrow, but, I'd have drawers. Or, If I had the correct top measurements, I could just make another top. Not real worried about it. cause it does sew. Looking at it, its offset just a little, enough to line everything up right. Don't know why I never noticed that before.
