Default Picture super-imposed on posts.

Has anyone else been having a picture of a cutting mat appear over a lot of the posts? It appears on several posters so I don't think it is coming from a single poster. It makes the posts unreadable.
This has started when I started getting the daily digests again.
Any suggestions for making it disappear would be welcome!

Thanks,
Marilyn

I also notice there are a lot of moving ads that appear at the bottom of the page while I'm reading. This has also been happening since the Daily Diget stopped and started back again. It can be very annoying. I x the ads off but they keep coming back.

I along with others run Ad Blocker. I have no problems. I believe this site is NOT responsible for the Daily Digest. Read previous post in the QB Help section.

Thanks Patrice. I wasn't sure where the problem was but I think the picture of the cutting mat is hijacking the avatars.

this info from tech and marketing:

"Our best guess is that user has some sort of browser add on which is delivering ads over content. It's not coming from us. Those plugins will often wait a while after you install it so you don't make the association with adding it.

Those browser plug ins are VERY sneaky. Most come through Internet Explorer or Firefox. Google has been good with keeping Chrome clean from the worst, but even there they can get through. Safari on my Mac [seems to do fairly well at preventing them.] The bottom line with those is that you're going to "pay for it" even if it it's something free, so best to look at the browser's settings / preferences to find where those plug ins are added, then clean it up. Most reputable advertisers will stay away from partnerships with browser plug ins / add-ons which is why you see very low quality companies promoted through them."

short version:
-most likely caused by an add-on you picked up from a different site.
-our tech and marketing folks work hard to block ads that use this "technology."
check your browser settings. remove any add-ons you didn't choose yourself.
check the list of installed programs on your computer. research any you don't recognize in case any of those need to be removed.
