Default Insulbrite (sp) - Could it work to protect credit cards

Does anyone know if I made a small credit card pouch using insulbrite inside, would it protect the credit cards like those small little cases or holders do?

I assume you want to protect the magnetic strip? That would not work IMO. If I hold a magnet onto insulbrite, it does hold needles on the other side.

I made a card holder and put HD aluminum foil between the layers. Now planning to repeat the process with the foil seal that you must rip from the top of coffee can--the big 34oz cans,,,? It is almost like metal.

Only lead will work to protect the cards from scanners.

One way to find out is to wrap your card with insulbrite and put it above the credit
machine next time you go to the store. A lot of people don't even bother to remove
their credit/debit card out of their wallet. They just put their wallet on the machine.

I just finished making myself a new card holder...with the foil I mentioned in the post above. I don't think a thief will be able to read thru the heavy foil once he gets past all the other junk in my purse! I should
add that it was done in the hoop on embroidery machine. Very sorry my pix are so large--with ipad--will resize next time.

Lately, my pics will start out super large. That's new, they didn't used to do that. I have to resize using Paint to get them to an acceptable viewable size.
