Sorry, not brave enough (if I could even find it). But I'm sure it would beat all those already posted.

here i was reading thru this thread at work, quiet friday afternoon - laughing out loud at the stories and the one boobie quilt - people were walking by my office looking at me like i had lost it!
I agree with the others - I haven't seen any ugly quilts.
Boston - seriously - let me take that forrest green quilt and get it finished...gorgeous in my eyes!
Thank y'all for a light hearted ending to a hectic work week!

I love the mix of colors in your quilt.

That is an excellent idea. Wish I had thought of it. I have a really ugly one that is hidden is a drawer. Think I'll haul it out and use it as backing on another quilt. At least it won't go to waste.

As a quilt judge I can honestly say I've never seen an ugly quilt....there's always something worthwhile to find in one...even the most utilitarian quilts...imho....Now I have seen quite a few that made me laugh out loud...but that's a whole other issue!

Okay, here's mine. I know somebody will say, "It's not ugly," but the title of this thread is "ugliest quilt you ever made." And this one wins that prize. I had read about this type of quilt - which goes by different names - and really wanted to try one. So I gathered all my "ugly" fabrics and had a go at it. I showed it to a friend - who said she wanted it! She had a godson she wanted to give it to. I figured, it's so ugly, it'll probably make the baby throw up - but that's what babies do anyway. So I gave it to her.

I love it. I like your idea of black sashing.

This one is my second ugliest quilt I have made a few years ago. I will tear it all apart again and use the Elvis part for something different
