Jan your garden looks great! I felt bad to leave my garden back in Wisconsin, we had fresh tomato's every day for our salads. Before we left for Alabama we let the neighbors know they could help themselves to anything in the garden. We have been here just over a week and it bothers me to have to buy my vegetables.

Know what you mean by buying those vege's, would much rather have the fresh ones. I will have onions, potatoes, carrots and beets all fresh until next March or April. Sure saves on the grocery bill.

Intriguing Jane! Can't wait to see the whole thing.

How's everyone coming along? Lots of pumpkins or pumpkin colored things happening?

Hi all,
Just popping in to say I'm 'reel' close to finishing up Quiltermomma's mini. Dh and I got blindsided with a virus that set me back a day or two.

I'll be attaching the binding today and maybe even get the hand stitching done. Hopefully, this little piece will be 'leaf'ing here in just a day or two. And, since I'm not much of a characters or 'cutesy' kind of girl, I went with colors that hint of autumn, but could be used year round, if QM chooses.

Best,
deb in Maine

I am getting in the mood. Pumpkins & gourds are at the sidewalk displays, mums, asters, and some gorgeous grassy plants I can't identify. Do we have an October theme? Nature?
