I went back and forth between the two...in the first one the red draws the eye too much and you forget to look at the block...very interesting to watch the change in the 2 renditions...thanks for sharing, Anne

Anne, I agree with you. I think the softer pink works better for the block overall. I love your new Becky. I didn't even notice that cute orange! I have the same print in blue.
After attempting the inset seam on Belle, I gave up and started over. I made my own templates and am finishing her up now. Excited to post tomorrow!

Husky, Nina took pity on me and sent me some orange pieces..it's one of them...
I'm planning a 3 day trip to Pennsylvania Dutch country in a couple of weeks..I don't think I'll have a problem finding some 30's fabrics there...I'm very familiar with the quilt shops there and I'll be shopping while DH is playing golf...I'm looking forward to it...
