JNCT your wall hanging is beautiful! I'd have to use it on my table...don't have that much wall space. That's what I get for having all these huge windows in my house. Mine is about 25"x25" but may make another one. Just a question for everyone, I'm curious... I'm wondering if everyone has room for a hanging this large? If not what would your ideal size be??

I also have limited wall space so I hang quilts on every little piece of vertical area I have from the side of the fridge, all the doors in the house ( on both sides), the sides of cupboards and for shower curtains. There is nowhere I won't hang a quilt!

As for size, I have no preference, I will find a way to hang or use any quilt!

Jaba, I should ask what size is best for you?

peace

Due to the lack of my own intelligence, I think I left out a bit of information on the picture of the Best in Show quilt. I only attended the show and I only wish the BISQ was mine. I am so very sorry for any mis interpretation. It was not intentional.

The only wall space I really have is a wall in the eating area of my kitchen. I have one of those "Welcome" metal hangers on that wall, from Annie's I think, and that's where I hang them. About 22" is what it will fit on the rod. Can put hoop holders on it to make it go larger but the width of the wall is 41". Literally the whole front and back of my house is large windows from almost ceiling to floor. The only other wall in the main living room has a big rock fireplace on it. I have room downstairs but then they don't get seen very often.
I was really just wondering if there was a limit on anyone's space as then if they were my partner I wanted to send something that they could use, or hope they would use. I hope I'm making some sense here I'm not wanting to hurt feelings I have just always wondered since there is no size really stated.
Here's what I have so far from my pile of fabric that I posted earlier.

These things are really nice to know. IMHO, 2' sq or a little larger or smaller seems to be a good average size. Think about what you see in quilt shops and that is about the general size.

Your DLHL quilt is terrific.

Jaba that is really lovely. As far as size goes, I received two WH on this swap yhat were a little too big to hang but look terrific on my kitchen table. I also thought that I received one that I dont have room to hang, it will be the focal point of my next quilt (QAYG). Cant have too many of those!

Never thought about using them for a QAYG what a great idea! I have used them on my table and the larger ones look very nice.
