If need be, you can also put a piece of white/cream fabric over it (like a cotton pressing cloth) and iron on low.

do you have a steam mop i just held mine over the batting and then let it lay and it came out nice you have to judge

but i didn't have hold it up too high

Mine goes in the dryer also after I spray a little water around and about. Fixes the problem.

Toss it in the dryer with a damp towel for about 10 - 15 minutes. it should be flat after that.

I buy the Dream polyester king size from Hancock's of Paducah all the time and have never had a problem with it laying flat. Has fold marks, but smoothing it out takes care of them.

I tried preWashing some Hobbs 80/20 and it came apart and was unusable.
How do you preWash yours?

I don't usually buy packaged batting anymore but when I did I just put it in the dryer with a wet towel & it took care of most wrinkles. I don't have anything against packaged batting but I buy it by a 9 yard bolt now. I do buy Hobbs 80/20 from Connecting Threads though when they have a sale & that is packaged.
