Boom 15 "Rosebud" 3 month group
#1114
Kass: I have one question.....WHY? I love that you are dedicated to them and the outfits give me quite the giggle and pretty much made my morning.
Jaba: All the best to Monica I am so glad that she is on the road to recovery. While the dr.s are battling Bills CSF leak the constant worry has been meningitis he was so very lucky not to get it and I am thankful for that everyday.
Bee: As long as we all keep checking in here occasionally for updates and completed quilts I don't see why we can't stay in tough even through the busy holidays.
I have seen the begining of Bee's boom 14 and 15 and Jaba has shared some pictures, anyone else? I have gone through mine and that is it. Has anybody elses started putting a quilt together?

Billi...so good to hear that Bill is having good days...I know about that. Got my PD diagnosis in March of 2010...so far...good days have been plenty. I have learned to plan for the future without worrying about it...
Kass, I have to hand it to you girl.....making new fall and winter wardrobe for the flock....you win the compassion award this month!
Terri...you have quite a bruise there....my DH fell a couple of winters ago playing tennis...took quite a fall...lots of bruising on his left side...8 days later he broke out with Shingles. Take care of yourself....get plenty of rest and feel better.
I have been spending a lot of time in the sewing room finishing up projects. Trying to stay focused on finishing all my Boom quilts this week, tops that is. Should have pics to post this week.
All you Boomers who are "lurking" out there...say hello...and post pics of finished projects....love to see progress...its inspiring...
AZKat...Libster....love to hear from you ...

Thanks Bee, she is through this crisis and settled down. No real answers yet so struggling through day by day trying to figure out what works best for her and family
i am visting my Mom and sister. Mom was great yesterday, today she called and my sister answered the phone, mom was asking her about the girl that was visting her, me:-(, she couldn't remember my name. That has never happened before. Sure made me sad. Physically she is also doing very well. Still anti-social and doesn't like to leave her room, especially since her beau passed away. My sister and I have to learn to accept that is just plain going to be the way it is.
helping my sister cut out a quilt and picking colors for another one. Someone told her she wasn't good at the choosing of colors. Makes me mad.

Just a quick check in to say hello to everyone and catch-up. Jaba and Terriamn, so glad to hear there is continuing improvement. Kass, I've never seen featherless chickens. Your clothing project for them is the definition of dedication. Amazing! Hope everyone else is well and happy and busy quilting.
Only big news here is that moms house is on the market snd she's getting nibbles. Am sewing on a scrappy quilt now and then and starting to get the itch to do more.
Take care ladies!
