Your quilt is so lovely. How wonderful that she picked the fabrics and pattern and Grandma made it for her. I think you planted quilting seeds. I just finished a queen size quilt as a Wedding gift. We did it the same way. The bride chose the colors and the pattern and the fabrics. She and hubby love it. I love that there is no guessing about what they would like.

This is a quilt I made for my granddaughter last winter. My granddaughter came to visit from South Dakota and picked the fabric and the pattern. I finally made myself put one of my quilts in the quilting line. I am going to start doing one a month of my own. I'm debating about mailing it once I get it blinded or save it for Christmas. Everything is free hand. I did fun feathers and a stipple in her quilt. The last picture is of back. I put a block in and pieced back with a couple prints from top. Thanks for looking.

Love your granddaughter's quilt. She'll be absolutely thrilled when she gets it. I think it's great she got to pick out pattern and fabrics. I always look forward to seeing how you quilt the quilt....gives me so much inspiration. You are VERY CREATIVE
Thanks so much for sharing!!
