My Block Won First Prize
Wellington County (Guelph, On) put out a block contest ( 50 Shades of Green ) in conjunction with their Plowing Match hosting in 2016. The blocks are to be sew together as raffle quilts. There were 80 submitted and mine took first prize. I was told today, but I have to wait until August of next year to see my block in the raffle quilt and received my fabric bundle from Northcott. LOL
My block, 14in. is a representation of Wellington Co. showing the rivers, the lakes and the agricultural areas. Just what I needed on a dreary day.!
The fabric is hand painted and machine embroidered.
