    Wonderful job!! I also do not really do wall hangings as I prefer quilts. I have seen a few that loved though, and now I can buy them and do what you did!! :D It turned out beautifully. Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring!!

    I will have to see if I have some pictures that contain a closeup of the center.........if I can find any that were taken, I will upload...Mother's bed sits up so high that she has to use a small step to get up into it. :-)

    THANKS - the AVATAR is one of Blanche Young's designs from Traditions with a Twist, called Jamaica. Thought I would never get that pieced correctly.......colors on the picture do not really do it justice.....glad you like it...
