Dotty -- I love what you did with those yoyo's! I think "Linda's Garden" is a wonderful theme, too. I won't get to do anything until after Christmas, but I will work on a mini quilt with that theme. I, too, believe Linda will love it!

I am thinking and praying for LINDAs family as they mourn their loss ......THankful that LINDA is in no pain and in heaven. She will be missed by all of the quilting-sewing board members.

Today I received a wonderful swap package from my partner SMR.

She sent a lovely mug rug with a coaster, 2 pot holders & a hanging kitchen towel -- & she made every item! Also, she made a Christmas stocking -- & stuffed it full with lots of mini chocolates! Here are some photos:

I don't know if you can see it properly, but the greens SMR used are beautiful -- & everything matches my kitchen! Thank you, Susan! I love everything!

Oh, dear ... the word "text" is NOT on the towel! Just another Oops! to add to a long line of Oops's!

Momoftana made a very labor intensive and beautiful mug rug! The aligators would be fun to put into a little boy's quilt... or a big boy's. Great swap.

Wow, SMR's swap is amazing... She made so many great things! I am already an SMR fan, having had her as a swap partner last month. I love her work. You lucky duck, Pamela.

Nelco, I have never had Linda as a partner in anything (she didn't participate in the mug rug swap which is mostly what I do...) so I have no pictures of her work. You could, however, send her daughter a link to her profile page here, and she could find her pictures. This is the link:
http://www.quiltingboard.com/members...rat-u8764.html
She has a number of 'albums' there, with lots of her work.

I am not sure what I will do with the alligator print yet. I like the idea of a beach bag.....but there are not very many beaches in Iowa! ;-)
