    My dad would always say, "The best gift is something you wouldn't buy for yourself". It could be because it's just something you wanted, and 'shouldn't' spend the money on - or it's something trivial that you just want. Go from there.

    I would LOVE a gift basket - a package of universal needles (80's), a new sharp seam ripper, a new rotary cutter blade, a pair of scissors for snipping, and a larger pair for fabric cutting....... I was recently gifted with a hand made travel bag - needle threader, scissors, thread, some clover binding clips - they are so wonderful (thank you gagasmith). The little notions that we always need but forget to purchase are a great gift.
