I've said it before, a LOT of the 201-2's seemed to have ended up out west. They are all over the place here, usually $100 or less

That's actually a pretty cool deal. Don't we have at least one typewriter collector here too? I don't know what I'd do with it but it looks good. Typewriters suffer much the same fate as sewing machines for repurposing. I've seen a lot of jewelry made with the keys.

I'd be all over it, probably even with the exchange the way it is. I love those Wheeler and Wilson (? It's been a long bad IT day so I'm in CRS mode again.) early Singers and I have a soft spot for those typewriters for no discernible reason (though I'm not the collector you're thinking of)

VSII Pretty short mfg cycle, not very common.

Here is a VSI. They have a VERY distinctive arch to the arm. This particular machine was made in 1876
(the first year of production for White SM Co.)

Okay Steve, it's an early FLairmatic(typo by the seller), and it's PINK, not salmon. Sort of a metallic looking rose pink. That one would fit great in my collection.
This is the second Brother I've seen in this color. And......yes I do have the first one I saw.
