It's home! 1949 production. With manual, original attachments, and the hemstitcher & instructions in its very nice box. Cords need rewiring, not sure about the motor. It came in the art deco cabinet (no glass ink well, but there was a wad of old chewing gum at the back of the pencil tray). I have given it a light cleaning and a heavy oiling. One grease pot cleaned and filled. Other thumb screw is on a tad tight, so that will wait til tomorrow. As will pictures. .
Specials thanks to Macybaby and her DH for the phone enabling...I mean guided decision support!
Not ready for a 101 or a 501 yet...but these would round out the series nicely.

I'm happy for you that you found and obtained the 201! I stumbled into one -- my son rescued it from being smashed by a former employer of his. We've had to buy some parts, but the machine is up and working. All it needs is for us to get it clear coated with shellac to protect the decals. The shellac on it is suffering from age (this machine comes from 1952) and the decals are 98% there and in good shape, so i want to protect them BEFORE I use this machine! My machine cost me $0.00, so I'm very blessed there!
