That is beautiful and the special pictures on the back are so special. That will be quite an heirloom. You did a great job.

It's a beautiful quilt! And I love how you personalized the back. You are not the only person with a family member who will give away something you made for them-even when they asked for you to make that item. It's a truly beautiful quilt-BOTH SIDES!

What a beautiful compliment your SIL gave to you by asking you to make her a quilt. You did an amazing job of it and the back is as nice as the front. You are both winners here, but I think she is going to have to commission you for two more so your nieces do not have to fight over this beautiful work of art. Just one question, Did you put a label on the back?

Your quilt turned out wonderful and such a good idea to make it two sided. Glad she liked it!

Maybe you'll have to make more for her children
Mucky, exactly what I think.... I hope to stay determined to say "thank you" and stick to my decision of making only what I want with no "obligation" .... wish me luck loll as I can be weak with "special request" from them loll

I did sew on the binding on the four sides " Tissé serré pour (her name and my brother's name) fait par.... Quebec 2015) tissé serré describing their family and meaning tightly woven (I think)
but it is not that obvious and you make me rethink the label... I will try to hand embroidery it on the bottom of the back... I still have a few days...
thank you for reminding me

Your quilt is just beautiful. I love the soft colors. I am sure she is thrilled with it.
