Good morning everyone,

First off, what a challenging time so many members are experiencing right now, healthwise. I'm sending wishes for strength to Michellesews. I don't know what else to say except you'll be in my thoughts. And for WMUTeach, oh, goodness, I'm so glad you aren't more poorly off. Sending healing thoughts and my best wishes for a speedy recovery. And the same for Sunrise...I can only hope you heal quickly as well and can be back to yourself soon. (Hugs, P.) Today, I'm mailing out the candy packages for SheriR and Rosemary Attaway. Both will be early I'm afraid but it's on my mind and time is already getting away from me this year. How can it be already almost a month since Christmas?

My thanks to Barb for another wonderful Candy Swap. You are a wonderful hostess and I'm deeply appreciative of the tremendous number of hours you must spend keeping us all in line. I'm looking forward to next year's swap.

I've begun to recieve my birthday candy!! My husband was very confused. "You have these packages!" "Yes," I said, "It's my birthday!"

I'm saving them all for the 3rd. I think I'll have a great time opening my "candy" all on my birthday!

Also, I'm going to my daughters in Minot, ND on the 9th. Any bday candy I recieve after that I won't get until I come home in March!!

Oh! I've been saving a card/candy from Karen G since Jan 30, 2015. I can't remember exactly what happened, just that I got two sets from her for the 2014 swap and told her I'd save one for 2015. It's been in my birthday candy box all year! Thanks Karen G!

SheriR...glad to see that candies are beginning to arrive. Good for you to save Karen G's package! Hope KarenG remembered that she is all set for you!

SheriR...since you are not leaving until Feb 9th for your trip you SHOULD have all your sweet candy by then. (after all it is 6 days after your birthday) Come on ladies make it happen!!!!!

I have a ton of new 2.5 strips to cut into new candy to send out this year! Just gotta make some quilts with the old candy before my April birthday. I think I can... I think I can....

Glad you ladies are receiving your candies. I've been sewing on mine today and almost have a quilt ready to be quilted. Will have to wait for a tad to put on the quilting table but it will be waiting for me after my hand surgery heals. Ladies my thoughts and prayers are with you, more than you will ever know. I truly feel your pain physically and mentally. I also know that there is a plan and no one knows but our "higher power" and it is hard to not wonder why. I guess someday we will all know.
On another note, I think my Bronco spirits were on track today.....super bowl here we come!!
