What a pretty quilt. You did a great job on the quilting, too Funny story about your husband and cat I'll bet the cat usually wins.

Awesome job Dresi... love the colors and you did a fantastic job on your quilting. You must be proud. Was the pattern paper pieced? Your points look perfect.

(p.s. I grew up in Benicia and worked at the Vallejo Courthouse for more than 10 years - now living on the coast of Maine)

It was paper pieced or it wouldn't have turned out so well what with all the bias cuts and points and all.

It was my first time paper piecing. I just tried it to see if I could even do it. Kind of fiddly and omg what a mess taking the paper out at the end(dragsville)but well worth it for trouble free triangles and points.

Bet Hubs and spoiled siamese are both glad you hung in there with the FMQ! Pretty quilt, I'd fight for it too!

This is a very pretty patten and your arrangement of the colors and fabric make all the stars look different. Great job!
