What a beauty this is! Love the color combo of blues and browns. I like the triangles and I don't think the quilt would be as stunning as it is without them. The stripe in the inner border and repeated in the binding is very striking. Very pretty quilting choices too. I bet the recipients will be thrilled with this lovely gift from you.

Thank you all for your compliments. This quilt pattern is one of Bonnie Hunter's from Quiltville as some will probably recognize. Even the color scheme is hers but I found all these blue, brown and neutral scraps so just had to try my hand at it. Also asked the hubby what their colors were...........and weren't so I kept with those hints in my mind..........no lime green and no floral of any kind. Don't realize just how many fabrics have some sort of floral in them till you look for those without. But its done, they have it in their hot little hands and they seem to like it. You always wonder if something you make for another person will be well accepted or not.
Again, thanks for all the nice compliments. I'm pleased with how it turned out too. Sorry you can't see the delicate quilting pattern in the triangles very well, over 200 of them little devils individually quilted in 2 colors.
