    Default Perspective and opinions please

I am making this quilt based on 2 photos I took near Cancun. I have fused down the sky and ocean but not the railings and thatch. Does the perspective look right? Is the scale ok? This quilt is a very important reminder of my trip and I want to make sure it is right before I fuse down the rest.
I plan to put 2 drinks on the railing as a finishing touch.

Looks great but for some reason the tree trunk or corner post? on the corner leaning at an angle bothers me. If it is true to the picture then go with it because your piece is very realistic.

Tartan, it is true to the picture there because it is the corner of the cabana. Is there a way to better convey that?

I was kind of hoping to see the original picture to compare.

This is really neat. I couldn't do it, but I can see what you're getting at....here are a couple of thoughts.....

The tree at the right corner. Look at the base of it. That looks narrow compared to the rest of the tree. It also looks a different color.

The lower railing by the tree looks off. It's narrower and the right side should be angled down toward the right corner. It looks to be going straight across the picture. You have that top railing angled. The bottom one should be too.

Look at your vertical posts (up/down). The one on the left is taller than the other two.

Alright, after seeing the photo maybe run your posts right off the edge of the fabric. That way you won't need that bottom rail. That would also help with your tree.
