My daughter makes a great vegie pizza. She uses store bought pizza dough, pulls it to fit her cookie sheet, brushes on some olive oil and bakes it. When it's cool, she spreads hummus on top, then adds chopped olives (green and black), sliced marinated artichoke hearts, sliced green onions and chopped tomatoes. She puts it under the broiler for a few minutes then slices it into squares.

I've got a great "Pizza Dip" that you eat with nacho chips that people go crazy for. I'll post the recipe tonight when I get home.

How about some hummus served with raw vegetables and some naan (a type of flat bread).

Just remember to use veggie stock.
Isn't that vegan? My friend is visiting and she is vegan now. Does present some issues with meals. Nothing from an animal including honey!

Best idea is to ask them what they like/will eat and go from there. There are many vegetarian/vegan recipes on line.

There are a few differences between a vegan diet and a vegetarian diet. A vegan diet is one of a number of vegetarian diets. Typically, vegetarian diets are broken into three or more groups include lacto-ovo vegetarians (whose diets include eating dairy products and eggs), lacto vegetarians (who eat dairy, but avoid eggs), and vegan vegetarians which are those who avoid animal products altogether.
