***
*** Love the quilt and the box.
***
*** I have a avocado Lerner sewing box I had back in the 70's I think.
***
*** It is an all over pattern and looks kinda like a woven design.

Beautiful quilt! Congrats on the sewing box. I still use the Orange one I bought in the 70's.

I have one just like it as well but not in that good of shape. Mine was bought by my mother for me for Home Economics class back in the 70s. Great quilt.

I inherited my sister's sewing kit like yours, it is also avocado green! I had a brown one of my own. I like the quilting pattern on your BIL's quilt. I'm sure he will love it for a long time.

Loved reading this & your "thank you" on an index card is so sweet & it made me smile, how considerate that he wrote you one. He has a lovely quilt & you did well with your goodies, too. My mother gave me her sewing box like that many years ago. Seeing yours reminded me of my Avocado Green kitchen in the 70's I loved.

Oh, I used to have a sewing box just like that one that was my mother's. Don't remember now what ever happened to it, but thanks for bringing back the memories.
