I heard from two people concerning their recent experience with Queenof2802, so I guess getting her name this month was just my bad luck. I just hope she's OK.

I didn't take a photo of the items I sent her except the wall hanging that I spent hours and hours making. Obviously I invested too much of me in that project! Won't do that again. Since she collects Santas I thought it would be something she liked. Other items in the box were patterns, fabric in her preferred colours, stiletto, seam ripper, and some miscellaneous items.

At any rate, two months in a row of not hearing from the SP I sent to is disappointing, but I also realize this happens to all of us at some point or another.

Belfrybat, I know it is disappointing when you don't hear from your SP, especially when you (we) all put a lot of thought into our boxes. It has happened to me, and I am sure any of us who have been participating in this swap for any time have had it happen to them.

I love the WH, that was so thoughtful of you. Hopefully there is a good reason you have not heard from your SP. Remember, you can always post negative feedback to that persons profile.

Personally I know sometimes I am late in getting photos up. I travel for my job and sometimes I find myself running into the house, grabbing the next packed suit case and turning around to catch my next flight out of town. However, my DH, or our house sitter if he is away, always let me know when I get my package so I can at last say thank you in a private PM.

Speaking of posting pictures, SP I will get those up this weekend. I land back home tonight and will luckily be home for the next 6 weeks before my next trip. Looking forward to get some more UFO projects together so I can get the binding hand sewn while gone. Gives me something to do when I am at the hotel in the evenings.

Hopefully there's a compelling reason (not to wish any misfortune on the recipient!) why she hasn't written a personal thank you.

It's the height of bad manners to 'forget' to thank someone for a gift. It's happened to me too. In fact the recipient disliked her gift so much she disappeared from the entire board!

Once or twice someone has messaged me to say that their parcel has arrived and they'll thank me later - they haven't. I've also had people thank me on the thread and not send a private message. By luck I've usually seen their post, but a personal message should really be sent.

I am a little late in getting pictures posted. Got my package and was heading out of town for work the very next day.

Thank you jclinganrey for the great package. I received all kinds of interesting goodies. A CD with FM quilting techniques; a cute handmade owl pin cushion; 10 FQ's, 5 in various batik colors and 4 in a combination of black/white and one black on black; some thread; a Micron Pen; and a pair of scissors.

I have to admit I am not 100% sure what the other handmade item is for. I kidded with my SP that it was an apron for my Barbie Doll; however, as I was taking the picture last night the thought of it being a wrap for you water/soda bottles came to mind.

Thank you again for everything. This swap rocks!!!

I heard back from Queenof2802 and a family emergency took her out of town in mid-March. I'm just so glad to finally hear from her and hopefully she will be back soon.

it looks like an apron for your liquid dish soap.
I remember seeing them on the board awhile ago.
you slid it over the top and tie it in the back.

I'm finally somewhat settled back at home after being away over three weeks. Here is the wonderful pkg I received from Soniboo. She sent some of my favorite things (and my dogs') including a pin cushion made out of fabric with a pin cushion print, lots of scrap strips and charms, a mystery to read, chocolate, and my most favorite -- orphan blocks! The last time she had me for a SP, she sent three sets of orphans which were turned into three wonderful wheelchair/lap quilts for charity. I can't wait to tear into the new blocks she sent. Thread, chocolate, a pattern ... great things were in that box! Thank you again, Sonja!
