You're right! It was a light clamp. Either way, ditch the clamp and restore this lovely machine.

Thank you for keeping this beautiful machine. It is a good one to learn with. I started with one just like it. It is big and there is a lot of room inside to look around and get everything oiled and greased. That is the most important part. You have the manual, with s great. Use good machine oil and no solvents and you should be good. The wonderful folks on QB will be glad to offer advice on any questions you may have. Common sense goes a long way.
