I've got my tote/purse ready to mail out tomorrow. It actually can be used for either, I have one in a close pattern, this one I used my own design, what I would have made for myself, lots of pockets.

Mary, and new babies yet?
stupid question, the baby chicks, do they eat special food, or do the forrage for worms and stuff like that. does the mother help the chicks look for food, or are they born knowing to eat what you give them?
The baby cows, how long do they nurse on mom for?
Thanks from this not so urban girl.

Just got back in town from a short trip and there was my tote from Linny! And a beauty it is...cheery flowers with an outside pocket accented in lime (great choice) and an inside flower pocket as well. Nice long straps. I love it! Thanks so much Linny! Great job for the second one you ever made!

And again, my picture posts sideways...not sure how to correct that! I enlisted Ichabod, our crane, to hold it for me.

Thanks Karen. Things get a bit thick when sewing....not sure it's all that necessary to have an extra layer in between. I love the way you made the tote for me, and will likely do the same on making another one.

Chasezzz, pretty tote from Lynnie. She does very well on making them. Pretty floral fabric. Lynnie , no new calfs for another 3 weeks or so yet. The chicks eat regular food that is ground finer and has a few extra chick vitamins in it. they know how to peck for themselves and will find the food . once one finds it they all do. Usually beef calfs nurse till about 6 months old, then are weaned. Dairy calfs are not allowed on the cow so they don't get used to nursing (they are bottle feed). The cows are then able to be milked. I mailed Teresa's tote weds. so she should be getting hers soon too. Hope to see more pictures soon.

Here is a picture of the wonderful tote that I received from ckcowl. She also included a nice card. Thank you so much Colleen. I love the butterflies. It has a nice big pocket on the inside.
