That is absolutely lovely! I actually have one of the fabrics in the first picture. I was given a bunch of unfinished Dresden Plate pieces from an elder friend. She said they were from an elderly friend of hers and that they were very old. I have started putting them together. I just love your quilt.

Somebody took very good care of this quilt. How thoughtful of your friend to give it so you can appreciate it rather than selling it at a yard sale someday. Even if it was made in the 30s, it's still over 80 years old and in amazing condition for that age.

WOW, If you had not said differently I would have thought it was made.....yesterday. Beautiful condition and what nice hand work. You have a treasure. I hope you have lots of the information about the quilt and the quilter so when you pass it on the next owner will know the history or provenance of the piece. Lovely

I love the quilt. Are you sure it has ever been used? It looks like it was made last week. Regardless, it is beautiful!
