I think it can go either way the traditional block or the one block wonder.

I personally call anything kaleidoscope that has a repeat pattern cut in the same location in the print and sewn so that it is repeated. (usually a triangle, but also can be done in 4 repeats of square shapes). OBW is one way, traditional template and sew, or EPP are other ways.

Hey Anna, Here is one of my ideas for the next swap. It isn't plaid or a butterfly but it could be! Haha

Quilts should be arriving soon along with the rain!

The one I did for the mini wall hanging is a kaleidoscope but it is mirrored on all the adjoining V's. It's a Ricky Tims type block that I sized down to make it smaller.
Have sent my wall hanging and going to think about autumn, golds, browns, rust, and ?

Hi everyone, I just went up to get my mail and knew what I got when I saw that envelope. I received a bookcase quilt from JNCT14. Janice, it is wonderful I have a perfect place in my sewing room right next to my machine table. Right now it is just hung on my TV door just to get a picture of it. There is so much detail in this piece. There is a hand stitched doily to top off all the other special touches you included. Thanks so much.

And a surprise table decoration. I have to try my hand at these. So sweet!

Thanks again J. Wonderful<3<3<3

Just got my package from Annaquilts. So cute.....and a lot of work went into it! I love the barn and 'Old Glory', all the flying geese. Her quilting is so nice. Check it out on the picture.
She sent a pattern and notepad/pen set. The Dove bar melted so it's in the fridge. Once I can eat it, I will so you will never see it... Thanks, Anna, Love it! It will be hanging above my machine.
